| Admn utterly failed in curbing bovine smuggling: VHP-BD | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 21: Expressing concerns over the rise in bovine smuggling cases in J&K and recent incident of Bishnah, the Vishav Hindui Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) today said that administration has totally failed to control the same despite of the fact that they (VHP-BD) has time and again has brought the same to notice of the administration
Shakti Dutt Sharma of VHP in a press conference said, “The latest happening of Bishnah where the police deliberately leaked the information of smuggling of animals provided to them by resident it Mohan Lal of Bishnah due to which he was attacked and murdered by the smugglers.”
He said that Police instead of protecting the informer paved the way of murder of the informer. Taking strong notice of the murderous attack on informer, he said, “the VHP appeals to the administration to take the suitable action against the delinquent police officials who fled away from the curved immediately.”
Commenting on recent controversy in Russia over Shreemad Bhagwad Geeta, Sharma said ban on religious book Bhagwat Geeta is not tolerable and appealed to central Govt. to take up the matter with the Russia in this regard immediately.
