| Jagti tenants stage protest march | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 21: Jagti Tenement Committee Jagti Migrant camp Nagrota today staged a protest under the leadership of Shadi Lal Pandita, President of the Committee.
Dwellers of Jagti Migrant highlighted problems faced by the inmates of this Migrant camp and staged a candle march which started from Block 174 and proceed through the camp area upto 8.no Block.
The protesters demanded that such prolonged power curtailments be stopped immediately as it has adversely affected the youth undergoing studies. The members have further said that none of the inmates of this migrant camp will enter into any agreement with the electricity department till the Migrants are rehabilitated permanently.
The protesters demanded enhancement of cash assistance relief to Rs. 15000/- per family per month as against present assistance of Rs 5000/-
