| Inter-college women’s kho-kho tourney | | GCW Parade, Gandhi Nagar, PG enter semis | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Dec 21: Hosts Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar, GCW Parade and Post Graduate (PG) Departments of University of Jammu today moved into the semi-finals of the ongoing inter-college women’s kho-kho tournament, here today.
Earlier, in the quarterfinals, played today, GCW Parade defeated Government Women College Udhampur by an innings and two points. In another tie, GCW Gandhi Nagar trounced GWC Kathua by an innings and one point with final score on board being 6-5.
Another team making it to the last four stages was the combined side of PG Departments who got walkover Government Degree College Reasi.
Earlier, in preliminary round, GDC Kathua defeated GDC Samba 7-4. Since, GDC Samba played two matches, the side outplayed GDC Bishnah 7-2 in a first round match played today.
Today’s matches were officiated by penal of technical officials including Anil Sharma, Ajay Gupta, Gagan Kumar and Deepak Kumar.
