Congress faces wrath of lawyers ahead of due reshuffle, PCC(I) Chief entrusted for reshuffle

Jammu, Dec 22: As the lawyers have intensified their stir over the government's move of transferring the registration of documents from Judiciary to revenue department, the Congress wrath of lawyer ahead of that too ahead of due reshuffle when PCC(I) chief is arriving from National Capital after due back from the UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi for the due reshuffle.
Highly placed sources within Congress party terming lawyers strike as well motivated said that Congress is apprehending a vertical split of ideologies as many congress leaders have openly supported the ongoing stir of lawyers against the government decision of registration of documents.
Congress MP Madan Lal Sharma from New Delhi has asked the state government to take measures to end the ongoing stir of the lawyers. Besides Madan Lal, Mohd Shrief Niaz Congress MLA has also supported the lawyers. Sources within Congress said that Congress leaders smell foul play and they fail to understand the reason why the protests are being held only against the Congress leaders who had little to do with the move till date no protest had been staged outside the residence of any NC leader. They added that a section of Congress Ministers has lodged their resentment to Delhi demanding reshuffle or break up of alliance. A meeting whether to resume support to NC is being discussed with the Pradesh Congress President Professor Saif-u-Din Soz who is arriving from Delhi today.
Meanwhile in a latest development , Revenue minister Raman Bhalla had lodged complaint to the senior officers of the police alleging that some police officers had encroached the demonstrators to raise anti slogans against him in a protest held outside his residence a couple of days ago, sources added.
"Bhalla, sources said, had already in writing had said to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullaha that his department is facing shortage of man power hence are not able to bear responsibility of registration of land. In turn he demanded filling of 1500 tehsildars' post with immediate step so that the pending works could be geared up. Sources further said that Finance Department has earned around Rs 70,000 crores through fees generated out of land registration with in few days of the shifting of the land registration.
