| Three member committee formed for DBPS elections | | |

JAMMU, Dec 25:A meeting of prominent personalities of Brahmin community was convened under the chairmanship of Kasturi lal, president Dogra Brahmin, pratinidhi sabha, Satwari. It was brought to the notice of the gathering that election to the office bearers of Dogra Brahmin Pratinidhi Sabha Jammu has been announced with formation of three member committee. The members felt that the named members are either members of political party & hence illegible for the job or those having biased approach. The meeting unanimously decided to boycott the present committee wanted fresh committee of at least five renowned & unbiased Brahmins be named.
The election schedule regarding start of membership and other aspects of election be immediately announced. The members criticized the functioning of the Sabha, as reportedly, no working committee was framed, no minutes are recorded and financial irregularities committed. It was resolved to hold the next meeting in the premises of Dogra Brahmin Sabha Jammu, in near future to further press for the above demands. Those who spoke included P.P Sharma, R.P Shastri, Inderjeet Khajuria, Kuldip Modi, Chander Shekhar Sharma, Pritam Sharma, M.L Sharma,, Dr.Kasturi Lal, Janak Lal Sadotra, Raj Kumar Sharma, Sarpanh, Satish Bharti, O.P Sharma, President Dehati Brahmin Sabha. Also present were S.N. Sharma, Jagannath Sharma, Nitin Dharmath, Bodhraj, Anan Sharma, R.C Sharma Journalist, Nishikant Khajuria, Sunita Sharma, Devender Sharma, Ashok Sharma, K.K Proch and Nitin Dharmath.
