| Session on ‘Role of Social Media in the Business Development’ held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Dec 26; Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute organised an interaction session on Role of Social Media in the Business Development at JKEDI Jammu Campus today.
The objective of the session was to acquaint the participants with the benefits of Social Media applications to business development and related areas.
Recognizing the crucial role of social media in shaping the future course of economy worldwide M.I Parray, Director JKEDI said, “it is important that businesses, especially startups and Small and Medium Businesses, develop the ability to monitor, measure and manage their online personas to enhance their business networking and corresponding opportunities.”
Shakun Sethi, freelancer Media consultant made presentation during the session. The interaction session comprised of the four technical sessions viz, what is Social Media and why is it important, how has Viral changed the way we think and act , how to create and use Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and an elaborate Case Study.
