| B N college opens women cell | | People blame bad roads, demand immediate widening | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec:The B N College of Education, Nawabad Sunjwan, inaugurated Women Cell in its premises here today.
The inaugural ceremony was held in the presence of Chairman of the college Engineer A .G. Kohli, MLA Indu Pawar, SHO Women Cell Shakti Sharma, Dr GQ Sheikh, Managing Director of the college Er Wasim Kohli.
During the inaugural ceremony, guest of honor, Shakti Sharma, SHO Women Cell Jammu, congratulated the management of College and said that it is good step for girl students which would help them to resolve their various issues besides awareness of women's rights and duties.
Earlier, MLA Indu Pawar, chief guest, threw light on the violence against women and the miserable condition of women in India. The guests were hosted by vice principal of the college professor Rajvinder Kour. The welcome address was presented by Dr Manju Dwivedi, Principal of the college. The function was concluded with the vote of thanks by Mrs Gharo Choudhary.
