Fratricide claims another personnel’s life

Dec 30 Srinagar: In the second fratricide incident within a week in Kashmir, a Border Security Force (BSF) personal on Friday was allegedly killed by his colleague after an altercation between the security forces in South Kashmir Awantipora area, 30 kilometres from Srinagar.

Earlier in a similar incident, three security persons were killed by their colleague inside the camp in Kulgam last Saturday and claimed on Friday fourth in a week.

Early in the morning, head constable P.K. Hanjak allegedly fired at his colleague constable Susheel from point blank range and killed him on the spot.

According to police preliminary investigations revealed that there was an altercation between the Susheel and Hanjak on Thursday evening. On Friday morning, the head constable Susheel was found dead inside the camp.
