Srinagar ( Khunmoh), Dec 13: Lambasting the NC led regime for mis-governance, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti today said people of state now are fed up with this government and its mis-governance particularly the strikingly corrupt system that it has promoted during the the current Omar led regime. Mehbooba further regretted that corruption was now institutionalized even at the highest levels as the recent happenings had exposed.
Addressing a public rally here PDP President said the problems of the people have been compounded by the phenomenal rise in prices and non availability of rations from the government depots.
“The people are still deprived of basic needs like health, roads, water, and unfortunately power seems to be the worst hit area. On one hand with every passing day the power supply is going back to worse, people have been domed to live in darkness while on the hand the fee is being increased manifold, she said further adding, “whatever funds the state government spends is only with a view to helping their political favourites, touts, middle men and relatives.”
While the government had promised increased scale of ration, jobs for 8th pass and free electricity to everybody it has in effect snatched whatever was previously available. She pointed out that the lies spoken by this government had tarnished the image of entire political mainstream.
Therefore she appealed to the people to strengthen the party so that it can work for the betterment of the people.
