| Gorkha Sudhar Samiti asks community to go for UID cards | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Dec 30: In a meeting of executive body of Gorkha Surdhar Sabha Nai Basti Jammu held under the President Kuldeep Chhetri, the members were apprised that there is not much positive response from the Biradari members towards preparation of UID.
President of Sabha said in coming days this multiple utility card will be of much benefit for them most of the Biradari members are without Voter Cards, PRC and other identify documents. “This facility is free of cost and very easy to prepare, he said further added that the organization has communicated to Registrar of Societies reminders to OBC Cell Commission for expediting action for inclusion of Gorkha Birdari pending in their office. Besides this, he also informed the executive body shortly a deputation will meet Chief Minister and apprised him problems of Gorkha Birdari.
President also emphasized upon the nominated members to gear up monthly subscription and also members drive on the format given to them.
President Kuldeep Cheetri also extended Heartiest greetings on the eve of Guru Govind Singh’s Ji Birth Anniversary, Basant Panchami and Republic Day to all Birdari members besides all sections of society.
