Cong Sarpanch arrested under unlawful act gets bail | | | Early Times Report KISHTWAR, Dec 31: After remaining in jail for over a month, Congress Sarpanch from Changher (Marwah) Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh allegedly involved in collecting money on behalf of the militants involved in September 7, 2011 blast outside Delhi Court gets bail from the court of Principal District and Session Judge Kishtwar. Sheikh was arrested by Kishtwar police from Bus Stand Kishtwar on November 25, 2011 in connection with FIR No:12/2011 registered at police station Marwah. After Chief Judical Magistrate Kishtwar refuse to give the bail in favour of Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, his council approach the court of Principal District and Session Judge Kishtwar. After listening the council for accused as well as prosecuting officer appeared on behalf of the police, Principal District and Session Judge Kishtwar M L Manhas grants the interim bail for the period of one month in favour of the accused. The court has also directed the accused to cooperate with the police investigation as and when needed. Advocate Sheikh Nasir Hussain, the council of the accused said that his client is innocent and has been framed in this case falsely. |
