| NSS programme in Bal Niketan | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , Jan 1:A NSS unit of GGGM Science College had a scintillating session with the children of Bal Niketan, Amphala yesterday.
NSS Volunteers gathered at the hall of the Bal Niketan and distributed sweets and chocolates amongst he children. After cake cutting ceremony principal of GGM Science College Dr Satinder Singh addressed the children and the volunteers and gave well wishes for New Year.
He also thanked Capt. Parshotam Sharma (Vice President Bal Niketan) for providing such a great opportunity to the volunteers. Later Dr. Rajinder Singh and Prof. Ram Singh addressed the volunteers and children.
Capt. Parshotam Sharma in his address encouraged the volunteers and also stressed need for such programmes. NSS Commanders Navjot Bakshi and Rohit Kumar thanked the Vice President, Secretary and the Principal of College for coming in their programmes.
Many cultural items were performed by the volunteers as well as the students of Bal Niketan. On the occasion volunteers Ashwani Kumar, Nishu Rajput, Vikram Partap Singh, Prikshit Bali, Shiv Saproo, Sachin Singh, Koshak Singh, Vijay Thakur, Rahul Sharma, Vikram Chib, Nisha Sharma, Varsha, Sandeep Kour, Paramjeet, Shiwali, Manpreet Kour were also present.
