| First Step Tutorial celebrates New Year | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Jan 1: The First Step Tutorial celebrated a function on the eve of New Year 2012 today at Janipur. The pupils and the guardians congregated on the occasion.
The pupils participated with pomp and show, sang songs and other cultural activities played on the occasion.
The teaching staff also delivered the speeches for encouragement and imbibing the spirit of nationalism and also stressed upon the studies.
B.L.Kapoor, was the chief guest on the occasion. Besides this, Viney Gupta, the director of the tutorial also delivered the speech which was liked by all the participants and spectators/guests.
B.L.Kapoor, the state chairman Human Rights watch as a chief guest delivered the speech, in his speech, he said that 1st Step tutorial is the best centre among many others as this centre not only educate the children the academic studies but children/students are taught about the civic manners and aware the evils and its disadvantages there of.
On the occasion of the function, the prizes were distributed among the brilliant students who secured high marks in recent board exams and also shown ability during routine studies. Those who have been given prizes were – Neha Gupta, Nikhil Maltoniya, Neeraj Kumar, Vishal verma, Arun Sharma, Vivek Dutta, Priya chouhan, and many others. Prizes were also distributed among teaching staff namely--- Poonam Gupta, Litesh Kohli, Dushyant Pradeep, Sheetal Kapoor.
