Showing Black Flags to PM highly undesirable act | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 2: Bhim Singh, chairman, National Panthers Party and member, National Integration Council described the so-called black flags show on the arrival of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, in Amritsar as highly undesirable and politically motivated which deserves to be condemned. Singh said that the Indian Constitution has provided a wide range of freedom of expression yet the moral and social values cannot be shadowed for the pleasure of some busy political motivated bodies. He said that the commitment of Manmohan Singh to eradicate corruption cannot be doubted by any person as he has no political ambition to follow for himself or his dynasty. Casting doubt on his integrity vis-à-vis Lokpal shows bankruptcy in mind of those who doubt his integrity and sincerity. The NPP chief blamed both, the ruling Congress alliance as well as the opposition combines for the demise of the Lokpal Bill in Rajya Sabha. Both are equally guilty for this act as the Lokpal Bill was killed by both sides like Abhimanyu in the Mahabharata. Bhim Singh opined that the Prime Minister should go for dissolution of Lok Sabha because it has lost its credibility among the electorates. The Chairman of Rajya Sabha has not been able to convince the Parliamentarians about his failure to extend timing of the House which was his prerogative. He missed the opportunity to exercise his prerogative. The NPP chairman called on the regional leadership to work out a consensus to provide an alternative to the present political combination in the country so that the people may find an opportunity to support Vikalp Morcha (National Alternative) for desired Parivartan (Change).
