Sainik Colony residents applaud performance of Jan Sewa Sanstha

Jammu, Jan 2: Jan Sewa Sanstha organized meeting of prominent citizens of Sainik Colony to chalk out roadmap of 2012 and highlight achievements of last year.
Gurmeet Kour Randhawa highlighted that works of widening and blacktopping of roads and lanes, improvement of piped water supply, installation of street lights, supply of water through PHE water tankers and cleanliness were taken by Govt agencies after relentless efforts by all members of the Sanstha.
After detailed discussion with prominent citizens of colony, Gurmet Kour Randhawa head of Jan Sewa Sanstha listed the works to be pursued with various govt deptt. Few of them are completion of works already in progress, installation of higher capacity transformer, drainage, cleanliness and garbage disposal, further improvement of streetlights and water supply.
She informed the members of her team and residents of the colony that Sanstha had already approached Raman Bhalla, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Electric, PWD and PHE Deptt who have promised to implement these works in near future.
She applauded positive attitude and performance of govt employees working in Sainik Colony. A few of the names she mentioned in her address were Pawan Kumar Gupta-AEE, Ashish Sharma-AEE and Jatinder Singh Saini-JE of PWD Deptt; Ashwani Khajuria-AE, Ajay Sharma-Insp, Dwarka Nath Chalotra, Ashok Kumar and Devi Dass of PHE Deptt; NK Singh and Dev Mehra of Electric Deptt; Avtar Singh-AEE and electricians of JMC; Paul Gill-supervisor, Sohail Mattu and Robin of Health & Sanitary Deptt of JMC.
Newly inducted members to the Jan Sewa Sanstha were introduced to residents. The meeting was concluded with the request to the residents to offer full support and cooperation so that aspiration of the people of colony can be fulfilled.
The prominent citizens who applauded the performance of Sanstha were Ajit Singh Choudhary, Sardar Amarjit Singh, Master Gardhari Lal Choudhary, Capt (retd) Rattan Lal Choudhary, Sham Lal Chalotra, Sub Maj (retd) Iqbal Singh, Capt (retd) Pritiam Singh, NS Bhalla, Sardar Prem Singh, Capt (retd) Teja Singh, Nanak Chand Choudhary, Tript Khajuria, Ritu Sharma, Sureka, Parmit, Satti, Mohinder Kour, Guleria, Avtar Singh, Suman Choudhary, Pinky and others.
