| Plus 2 Lecturers hail regularization of incharge teachers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 2: A meeting of plus 2 lecturers was held under the chairmanship of N S Jamwal working President of All J&K plus 2 lecturers forum.
Jamwal congratulated the plus 2 community on the eve of New Year 2012. A large number of incharge lecturers who were regularized recently hailed the cabinet decision of regularization as “an exception”.
Jamwal in his address thanked Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Minister for School Education Peerzada Mohammad Syed and Naseem Lankar Commissioner Secretary Department of School Education for sincere efforts for regularizing all the incharge incumbents of school education Department who were working in the incharge capacity for more than a decade.
Jamwal asked the plus 2 community members to remain vigilant from the negative forces within the cadre who want to hamper the further process of regularization by giving irrelevant and concocted statements and stories in some dailies of the state.
Jamwal asked the plus 2 community members to trust on the screening committee which was constituted by the Government for verification of certificates.
He further stressed that the implementation of running pattern as per SRO 225 & upgradation of Higher Secondary Schools to the Inter mediate Colleges as assured by Peerzada Mohammad Syeed adding that it is in the pipe line and will be achieved in the near future.
Jamwal appealed the Minister to release 40% quota for plus 2 lecturers in the colleges which was abolished during the Governor’s rule
