| Avail discount on medicines, Chairman CML urges people | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Jan 2: Chairman, Cooperative and Marketing Ltd (CML) Kathua has appealed the general public to avail the discount facility on medicines from the fair price drug stores.
Addressing a public meeting here today, Chairman Karan Singh said that medicines on discount rates are available at fair price shops which have been running in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital and District Hospital Kathua.
He said that as a chairman of the Cooperative and Marketing Ltd Kathua it was decided and to offer discount up to 3% on medicines while purchasing from the fair price shops to facilitate the costumer as per the motive and objective of the society.
Singh further said that it necessary for every consumer to get the true vouchers from the seller on spot, and if anybody is not getting the vouchers or denied by the seller of these medical fair price shops then immediately lodge a complaint with the society.
On the occasion the board of Director Surinder Sharma (Shindu) also stressed the general public to get the discount facility on the purchase of medicines from the medical fair shops of the Cooperative and Marketing Societies.
