PDP mocks Omar led regime’s three years saying led regime to ‘Big Zero’ | Legitimizing corruption is only achievement of Omar led coalition | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 2: Terming Omar Abdullah led regime as worst ever corrupt dispensation the state has witnessed so far, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership today said that three year performance of this regime is a Big Zero because this coalition government has failed on all fronts. Former Minister Sardar Rangil Singh, ex-Rajya Sabha member Trilok Singh Bajwa, general secretary of the party Thakur Balbir Singh, Chatter Saini, Satpal Charak, Dewan Singh and others addressing a public meeting at Bishnah today said that since its formation the coalition regime in the State has befooling people by making false promises. “Three year performance of this regime is zero because except photo sessions and press releases nothing concrete has been visible on ground”, they observed and added that it was due to the wrong policies of the ruling coalition common people have been facing hardship. They further said that one and only noticeable achievement of this regime was legalization of corruption. “During the last three years corruption has crossed all limits”, he said and added that from upper to top, there is corruption everywhere”, they said and pointed towards mysterious killing of NC worker Haji Yosuf Shah’s case. Calling upon the party workers to expose misdeeds of this government, PDP leaders warned that their party activists would not remain mute spectators to the anti-people policies of the government. They asserted that PDP would take peoples’ problems on the streets to force the government to take some concrete steps for solution of day today problems. PDP leaders asked the people to compare performance of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed led regime with present government. They said that during three year tenure Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has set an example of good governance. “PDP led regime had not only strengthen reconciliation process but also carved out a path of equitable development”, they said and asked the party workers to educate the masses about policies and programmes of the party.
