| NC Migrant Cell holds meeting Asks Govt to allay problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 2: A meeting of National Conference Migrant Cell activists hailing from North Kashmir was held today.
SN Dhar coordinator of the cell presided over the meeting. The members deliberated on various issues confronted by the community and strongly appealed the govt to take immediate measure to mitigate the problems including release of remaining balance of ex-gratia, Restoration of encroachment of left over property, passage of Hindu Shrine bill, implementation of his package and one time grant of 25 lacs to the unemployed youth. They further demanded the speedy construction at Jagti township, restoration of electricity with lesser curtailments and enhancement cash relief.
The members strongly appealed the National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah to fulfill his promise made during election campaign at Sher Kashmir Bhawan Jammu to include Vijay Bakaya MLC in the cabinet.
M.L Pandita President, M L Bhat Secretary Poshhar Nath Bhata, Ved Lal, Bansi Lal Pandita, KK Suri, Pintoo and Ashwani attended the meeting.
