| PDD Employees Association lends full support to PDD daily wagers | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, January 3: The PDD Employees Association has declared its full support to the long pending and genuine demand of the PDD daily wager. This was stated by the district president of the association Ramesh Chander and general secretary Madan Gopal during a visit at the spot where the daily wagers are staging their protest dharna with hunger strike at power grid substation Hatli Morh Kathua.
On the occasion they expressed their full solidarity with the struggling daily wagers for the cause of their genuine right of regularization in the PDD department on permanent basis. They urged the state coalition Government to address the pending demand for regularization as many daily wagers have completed seven years in services since long and most of the daily wagers have crossed 10 to 17 years in services as daily wagers but till date have not been given the status of regular and permanent employees while the CM has committed to regularize them. They said that the PDD Employees Association will do its full efforts to strengthen the movement of the daily wagers on all fronts in order to convince the state Government for the regularization of all the daily wagers.
