| MLA Kishtwar distributes 199 solar lamps among ST beneficiaries. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar Jan 3:- Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo on Tuesday distributes 199 solar lamps among the Schedule Tribe beneficiaries in Nagsini Block of Kishtwar District.
While address the gathering, MLA Kishtwar appreciated the role of Omar Abdullah led coalition government and thanked Union Minister for New and Renewable Resources minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah for providing sufficient funds to Science and Technology Department for providing Solar Lamps to the poor populace of rural areas Kishtwar District which are un-electrified. Kichloo said that Dr. Farooq Abdullah has promised him that his ministry will provide sufficient funds for providing solar lights to the people of Kishtwar District. He said that Dr. Farooq Abdullah has already sanctioned Solar Light plant of 50 KV capacities each for District Hospital Kishtwar as well as for Marwah. He said that the prime objective of the government is to provide the basic amenities to the people of the state.Kichloo after listening various public related problems faced by the local populace assured the general public that he will try his best to redress the problem by taking the matter with concerned departments. Mr. Kichloo was accompanied by officials of RDD Nagsini and CAPD.
