| PCC (Urban) exhorts activists to work on ground level | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu Jan 3: A meeting of the District Congress Committee Jammu (Urban) presided over by D S Langeh-Working President DCC Jammu (U) stressed upon the unity of the party and its cadre at the grass root level.
During the meeting Dharampal Sharma-Ex-MP, Sr Vice President PCC; Th Hari Singh, S Gurmukh Singh-Vice Presidents; Ravinder Sharma-MLC General Secretary & Spokesperson PCC also spoke on the occasion.
D S Langeh stressed upon the unity of the party and its cadre at the grass root level. The participants have raised many issues including political as well as developmental which needs immediate resolution.
Ex-MP Dharam Pal Sharma-Senior Vice President, laid stress that the party worker should interact with the public to solve their problem such as BPL, ration, drinking water, electricity, old age pension etc.
Th Hari Singh-Vice President PCC, S Gurmukh Singh-vice President and Ravinder Sharma-MLC dwelt upon the fundamentals of the party system which will go a long way in strengthening the party cadre at the various levels. He opined that there is need to activate the party cadres in view of the forth coming elections to Municipal Corporation, constituency-wise committees comprising block presidents, district office bearers.
While concluding the meeting B B Gupta-General Secretary DCC, thanks the participants and hoped that honest, educated, dedicated and hard worker may be encouraged in the party fold.
