| Teachers Forum demands hike in honorarium of ReTs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 3:A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum was held today at Surinsar under the Chairmanship of Ganesh Khajuria, State General Secretary of the Forum.
The Forum members discussed in detail the demands of the teaching community. The demands included increase in the honorarium of ReT teachers to a minimum of Rs 8000 per month, confirmation of EVS as teacher after completion of 7 years of service. Removal of pay anomaly in the master grade from 6500-10500 to 7450-11500 in the pre-revised fifth pay Commission.
Meanwhile, Hardeep Singh Veteran Trade Union Leader from Surinsar area joined Jammu Kashmir Teacher Forum alongwith 50 teachers.
