| Panthers laments ‘poor’ functioning of distt hospital | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KISHTWAR, Jan 3: An emergency meeting of Youth Wing of Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) held today at Kishtwar under the leadership of Choudhary Rehmat Ali, President of District Kishtwar Unit of Young Panthers.
In the meeting, Choudhary strongly criticized the functioning of the administration in District Hospital Kishtwar. He expressed his concern that the patients are not treated well in the District Hospital Kishtwar. Patients are forced to purchase the medicines and other medical equipments from the market and medicines and medical equipments for the patients are sold in black market. He alleged that Doctors posted at District Hospital Kishtwar are not performing their duties well and action should be taken against the erring doctors.
Paramedical staff too is not performing their duties well. There is no cleanliness in the hospital as the hygienic condition in the premises is very poor.
Choudhary urged upon the government to pay due attention towards the functioning of District Hospital Kishtwar to ensure required medicines and medical equipments to the patients.
