| Animal Husbandry deptt organises fertility camp | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 3:
Department of Animal Husbandry District Jammu organized a fertility camp under Rashtriya Kissan Vikas Yojana (RKVY) at Kalakam (Bhalwal).
The programme was conducted by Dr Pran Koul Block Veterinary Officer, Bhalwal in collaboration with Dr Rajnish Gupta Veterinary Asstt Surgeon Domana.
About hundred animals were treated by the team of specialized Veterinarians at the camp. The medicines was distributed free of cost to the farmers. The cases mostly with gynaecological problem were attended and the remedial measures were given. About 200 hundred farmers attended the camp which included Sarpanches and Panches of the area.
Farmers were informed about the various centrally sponsored schemes undertaken by the department. Dr Pran Koul discussed at length the various schemes and the farmers to keen interest in all these schemes. Dr SK Bakaya Veterinary Asstt Surgeon, Paloura also spoke on the occasion.
The camp was also attended by Dr Vinod Khajuria Gynaecologist and Dr Mohit Koul Vety Asstt Surgeon Batehara.
