Three accused get two years RI for killing Cow after 11 years Trial | Cow Slaughter Case | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 3 : 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu today awarded two years rigorous imprisonment and fine Rs 2000/- to three accused in much publicized killing of Cow for allegedly create communal tension between two communities. 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu Subash C Gupta while awarding sentence, 2nd Additional Sessions Judge Jammu after hearing APP KA Qazi for the state whereas Adv Sabil Mirza for the accused persons observed that it is not proved that accused have killed the cow for creating any criminal tension between two communities and accused facing the trial in the instant case from the last more than 11 years and awarded two years rigorous imprisonment to each and fine Rs 2000/- each accused two years rigorous imprisonment and fine Rs 2000/- to three accused namely identified namely Prem Lal, Tarsem Lal sons of Kartar Chand and Hari Chand s/o Sewa Ram r/o Dablehar, RS Pura. According to the police case on August 4, 2000 P/S RS Pura received an information from their source that above said accused alongwith Tirlok Raj (died during trial) with common criminal intention had killed a cow in the field of village Dablehar in the evening with pre-arranged plan to create communal tension between two communities. A case stands registered u/s 298-A/429 RPC at concerned police station.
