Drugs worth Rs. 11,000 seized from defaulter

EARLY TIMES REPORT
SAMBA, JAN 03- In a surprise under the supervision of Asstt Controller Drugs Samba Mrs Renuka Raina at Rehian, Kangwala and adjoining areas the team seized expired and sedative drugs worth Rs 11000/- from the chemists.
Official spokesperson said that the team suspended licenses of M/S Guru Kirpa Medical Store and M/S Shri Ganesh Medicos Rehian for non maintenance of the licenses. And during the inspection huge quantity of expired medicines and sedative cum addiction forming drugs worth Rs. 11,000/- were seized from Bachan Pal S/o Hans Raj R/o Kathua proprietor cum qualified person of M/S Guru Kirpa Medical Store Rehian.
Meanwhile the chemists/druggists were strictly directed to maintain the conditions of Drug liscense as required under the provision of Drug and Cosmetic Act and Rules thereunder, falling which action under rule shall be taken against the defaulter.
