| Sunny Baba "slaps" Mirza inside court after clash | | | ET Report
Jammu, Jan 3: Following a clash with him, Sunny Baba allegedly slapped former jail superintendent Salim Beig Mirza inside the court complex here today.
While Sunny is lodged in the jail for allegedly conspiring to kill witnesses in Amandeep murder case, Mirza too was jailed after his alleged involvement had figured in facilitating the meeting of supari killers with Nagar Singh alias Nago inside the jail, and accepting money in lieu of this favour.
Nago's son Raja is the alleged main accused in the Amandeep murder case. He himself was arrested for allegedly fudging evidence in the case.
Both Sunny and Mirza were today produced in the court for their hearing in the case. Inside the court, they had heated exchanges, police sources said.
Sunny later allegedly manhandled Mirza and also slapped him, the sources added.
Police swiftly intervened and separated them. Both of them were then again shifted to the Kote-Bhalwal jail. |
