Kishtwar, Jan 4: The Birma bridge blast in Udhampur district has added a new dimension to September 7, 2011 Delhi High Court blast that left 16 persons dead and 80 injured. The material used in the blast has been found similar to the Delhi blast. The Birma blast was meant for Commandant North Command Hospital Major General S D Pathania.
According to the sources after examination of the forensic evidence, the investigating agency has concluded that the explosive used in Delhi High Court blast has similarities with that of Udhampur blast.
As already reported, the involvement of five foreign terrorist has been established and among these five three has been identified as Major Yasir , who deserted the Bangladeshi army after 2009 mutiny in Dakha, besides Haroon Bahi and Bilal Bahi.
The sources said that after the establishment of Dhaka link into Delhi High Court blast, the fresh leads clearly establish the Pak link to Delhi High Court blast since the fourth accused has been identified as Ghulam Sarwar, a Pakistani national involved in May 2, 2011 Udhampur blast.
The sources said the security agencies have reached the conclusion that the Delhi High Court blast was the handiwork of multiple militant organizations, that joined hands in a well coordinated manner to execute the blast.
The sources said that Ghulam Sarwar is a serving Major in Pakistani army and works directly under the command and control of Pakistani prime military intelligence agency ISI, involved in several militancy related activities in India.
The sources said that during preliminary investigation Ghulam Sarwar is said to be an LeT operative, but the fresh leads suggested that he (Ghulam Sarwar) acts as a mediator between various militant groups operating in Jammu and Kashmir who are directly under the control and command of ISI.
The sources said that Ghulam Sarwar who disguising himself as a local resident of Rajouri is another master mind behind the blast along with Major Yasir and three others. Ghulam Sarwar, who married a local woman in Rajouri has two children was first identified by Abid Hussain Bhawani and Amir Abbas Dev from his photographs shown to them by NIA.
The sources said that after identification of Ghulam Sarwar by Abid and Amir, the 3rd accused Dr Waseem Malik disclosed how he along with Ghulam Sarwar and other accused travelled to Kishtwar and stayed at his abandon house at Giri Nagar Kishtwar.
The sources said that Dr. Waseem also disclosed that how he along with other accused including Ghulam Sarwar held a meeting in a local mosque situated in the heart of Kishtwar town.
The sources said that Dr. Waseem also disclosed before the investigating agencies that how he arranged high quality and packed food from a local restaurant "Dazzle" for the perpetrators involved in Delhi High Court blast.
The sources said that Dr. Waseem Malik remains in constant touch with Ghulam Sarwar and said that it was due to Ghulam Sarwar intimacy with Dr. Waseem Malik, Ghulam Sarwar started living in a rented house in Bathindi area of Jammu that also holds the residence of accused Dr. Waseem Malik presently lodged in Tihar jail in connection with September 7,2011 Delhi High Court blast.
The sources said that after execution of the Delhi High Court blast Ghulam Sarwar along with other accused involved in Delhi blast isolated from each other and reportedly went underground or return back to Pakistan and Bangladesh via Bengal and Nepal border. The sources said that NIA has already initiated the process through Ministry of External Affairs as well as from Home and seek the help from local as well as international agencies in arresting the foreign accused involved behind the Delhi blast.
Meanwhile four member team of NIA led by Dy. SP Jawala Ji Shrivastav and inspector Prabhat Singh once again reached Kishtwar in connection with the inquiry of the Delhi High Court blast case. The sources said that the led by Dy. SP Jawala Ji Shrivastav will inquire about the reports of killing of Junaid Akram Malik in a group clash with HM militants few days ago.
