| JKMCC meets to discuss women issues | | |

JAMMU, Jan 5: Jammu and Kashmir Mahila Congress Committee (JKMCC) members today met and discussed problems faced by the womenfolk in the state.
President district Mahila Congress Committee, Prabha Slathia chaired the meeting and urged the women members to strengthen the party at grass root level.
Almost all the speakers were of the opinion that women are not getting their due share in politics and other spheres of life. They stressed for strengthening the Mahila Congress so that the problems of women folk are highlighted in a befitting manner.
Those who attended the meeting included Sita Devi-general secretary, Shamima Wani, Rani Devi, Sharda Devi, Narain Devi, Shahsi Devi, Kamlesh and Rajni.
