PNB manager caught accepting bribe | | | Early times report KATRA, Jan 05: The manager of Reasi branch of punjab national bank (PNB) was today apprehended by CBI while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a man for sanctioning loan. Ajit Singh, son of Pritam Singh of Panasa, Reasi, applied for a loan of Rs 2 lakh in PNB's Reasi branch about two months back to start a kiryana shop. Branch manager P K Shangloo, however, refused to process his loan case till he paid him Rs 10,000 as bribe, CBI sources alleged. A trap was then laid by CBI this morning and Shangloo was caught red handed by its sleuths while allegedly accepting Rs 10,000 as bribe, the sources added. He was then arrested and booked under relevant section of law.
