| Soz emerges 'empowered' Azad out of loop of J&K affairs…..? | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 5: In the New Delhi high level meeting of coalition partners while the J&K PCC chief Prof Saf-u-Din Soz emerged as an 'empowered' man in terms of the trust party high command has reposed in him by allowing him to take major decisions and directing the ruling NC to take the leadership on board , it became abundantly clear that former chief minister and union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is completely out of the loop of J&K affairs.
Azad was conspicuous by his absence in the meeting which among others from Congress side was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, J&K Incharge Mohan Prakash and Prof Soz. By authorizing latter to take decisions in accommodating new people in the cabinet and also in the reshuffle , sources said Azad, who has already been ignored in political matters has been further marginalized by this act. Significant and noteworthy about the New Delhi meeting while reviewing and receiving performance cum progress report of the coalition is that before commencement of the meeting senior leader at the central leadership Ahmad Patel held separate meeting with Sonia Gandhi during which he is understood to have explained to her certain sensitive and vital aspects related to nuances of governance in J&K coalition
