Early Times Report
Jammu, January 6:
Dreaded militant and chief of Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) Ranjeet Singh Neeta is learnt to have re-started its activities by luring the youths including the criminals to join KZF and carry out subversive activities.
Highly placed sources in police department as well as various Intelligence agencies revealed that “certain inputs collected from various sources indicated that Ranjeet Singh Neeta is under tremendous pressure of Pakistan’s ISI agency to bring back to life the ill-activities of KZF especially in Jammu.”
Pertinent to mention here that hailing from Ward 2 of Simbal Camp area here, KZF chief Ranjit Singh alias Neeta is now permanently based in Pakistan and have been coordinating militant activities of their outfits in India under the guidance of Pak ISI. Pak ISI agents regularly escort Sikh militants for trans-border movements and provide safe havens for their shelter and dumps of weapons and explosives. Furthermore, Neeta is among those most wanted 20 terrorists whose extradition from Pakistan has been demanded by India.
Sources said that “vital inputs collected by various security agencies reveal that Ranjeet Singh alias Neeta has again started making contacts with his Over Ground Workers (OGWs) here and mobilizing them to go for fresh recruitment for KZF involving youths and criminals. He has also assured of proper funding through Hawala channels to lure the youths to carry out subversive activities.”
“Neeta has also made several attempts through his OGWs to re-establish contacts with those KZF militants behind bars and facing trials in Jammu and Kashmir as well as in neighbouring Punjab state to further direct them to also contribute in resurrecting KZF’s activities,” inputs indicated.
Though after collecting such sensitive inputs, security agencies as well as police department is on tenterhooks to look for all those who are attempting such ill-acts but so far no success has been obtained.
Sources further informed that a close surveillance is being maintained in and around the winter capital through CCTVs and police personnel in mufti to detect the suspicious movement and pick up the suspects for further questioning.
