Agriculture Technocrats decry regularization policy

JAMMU, Jan 7: Agriculture Technocrats have demanded the regularization of Rehbar-e-Ziraat on the pattern of Rehbar-e-Taleem/New Recruitment Policy that is kept for five years on the assurance held with them during the last budget sessions of the State Assembly that the all the Agricultural Technocrats having served as a Rehbar-e-Ziraat on stipend of Rs 3000 per month will be regularized and appointed JAEO in the grade of 9300-34800+4200 with in 5 years.
Addressing a joint press conference of Jammu Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats Association (JKATA) and Jammu Kashmir Agriculture Technocrats United Front (JKATUF) here today, Dr Surinder Radotra President of the Association termed the regularization policy for technocrats created by the state government as a lethal weapon which has endangered their survival.
Dr Radotra warned State Government to take regularization initiative as early as possible.
Cautioning the government, Radotra said that if it failed to do so then technocrats would revive their agitation before the budget session.
Radotra also disclosed that since 1996 no recruitment has been done in APD and allied departments and since their appointment that to on Rehbar-e-Ziraat was initiated in year 2007 and till date no concrete policy has been set up for their dilapidated future. He said that the future of Rehbar-e-Ziraats is groping in dark as the government has announced earlier that the regularization would be take a gear on in a year 2014, 2015, 2016 that is totally a eccentric decision from the government part that did not care for the overage Rehbar-e-Ziraat as well as those on the verge of the upper age limit.
Chairman of JKATUF (Kashmir Division) Sohail Inmullah said that the creation of the posts of JAEOs should be created ensemble before this budget session.
