Khoda reaches district headquarters; reviews security, law and order | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, JANUARY 07: The Director General of Police (DGP), Mr. Kuldeep Khoda today asked the police officers to work in close coordination with civil administration to minimize the problems of the people. He said that public service should be the priority of police organization besides maintaining the security, law and order in the State. Mr. Khoda was interacting with the Zonal Inspectors General of Police and District Superintendents of Police during a Video Conference from Police Headquarters (PHQ) here this after-noon. The Conference was held to take stock of the overall functioning of police on various fronts including law and order, crime control, anti-militancy and civic action programmes. He asked the officers to gear up their working on these fronts to minimise the problems of the people. Earlier, the Zonal Inspectors General of Police, Kashmir and Jammu apprised the DGP about the efforts made for maintenance of law and order and come dictions in their respective zones. The DGP stressed upon them to strengthened the security grid and ensure that the peace is prevailed across he State. Among others, the Video Conference was attended by ADGP (Headquarters), Dr. S. P. Vaid, IsGP Dr. B. Srinivas and Mr. A. K. Choudhary, DIG’s Mr. Farooq Khan, Mr. Alok Puri, Mr. M. K. Sinha, Mr. Jagjit Kumar and Mr. Garib Dass, Director Prosecution, (PHQ), Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Zaroo and other senior police officers.
