| LOHRI CELEBRATED AT OLD AGE HOME | | | Jammu, Jan 14
A special Lohri celebration was held for the aged citizens at the old age home Amplhalla, here, where officers and ladies of Sunjuwan Brigade, led by their Commander Brigadier RS Jamwal and President AWWA Sunjuwan Brigade, Geeta Jamwal, decided to celebrated the festival at the ashram.
The officers and ladies distributed sweets and fruits and interacted with the residents of the old age home around a huge bon fire. This noble gesture by the Security Forces created an atmosphere of festivity among the lonely senior citizens of the city. The senior citizen welcomed this great gesture on part of the Army which not only made them feel part of family once more but also strengthened bond with the Security Forces, said a PIB (Defence Wing) release. |
