| R K Degree College organizes rally on Road Safety | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 7: Students of R K Degree College organized a rally on Road Safety measures in connection with celebration of Road safety week from Jan 1 to Jan 7.
The rally, which was flagged off by the Principal Prof PK Koul & Director R C Sharma of the college, started from the college premises and went through the town of Vijaypur with a purpose to make awareness among the people about the importance of safety measures for them.
The students were holding the placards and banners which reads important slogans viz. "Keep left & be alright"," Accidents brings tears, Safety brings cheers"," Always use footpaths" etc for adopting road safety measures and avoid the occurrence of mishaps,.
They also cleared footpaths of illegal encroachment. The students were also addressed by the principal who urge upon them for following the Road Safety measures strictly. Rajesh Sharma MD of the college, who was also present at the occasion, discussed Road Safety measures with the students.
