Animal Husbandry holds fertility camp

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 7:A fertility camp was organized by Animal Husbandry Department Block Bhalwal at Sobka under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY). More than 200 farmers from Sobka and surrounding villages attended the camp. More than 100 animals were treated in the camp mostly suffering with gynaecological problems by expert team of doctors and free medicines were given to the patients.
The camp was organized and conducted by Dr Pran Kaul Block Veterinary Officer Bhalwal under the guidance of Dr G.L.Baghat, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Jammu.
Dr. Pran. Kaul Block Veterinary Officer Bhalwal welcomed all the participants.
While interacting with the farmers, he deliberated upon various schemes taken by the department for increasing the self employment opportunities especially in dairy & poultry sector.
