| Samba JE gets transfer order modified within six days of relieving | | Slogan against corruption goes in air | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 7: While Omar Abdullah led state government is clamouring hard to be committed for eradicating the corruption in state, but things are completely different at ground level as a blue eyed Junior Engineer (JE) in Samba district gets his order of transfer modified that too within mere six days of his relieving from the parent post posting courtesy his movement within higher circles in government set up.
According to the sources one Jagroop Singh Junior Engineer through a Govt Order 437-PW (hyd) of 2011 dtd 27/10/11 was relieved from his office on 9/11/11. Barely passing of six days of his relieving order on 9/11/11 the influential JE managed his transfer order modified and vide Govt Order PHE/GE/148/Eof 2011 dtd 15/11/11 once again the said Blue eyed person got himself installed at PHE Division Samba leaving people surprised and amazed over the government set up.
If they don't want to transfer him from the above said place why did they transfer the same through Govt Order 437 -PW(Hyd) 2011, sources within department said further adding that the higher officials in every department knew the influential heads in their respective departments very well and never dare to transfer them (blue eyed employees) against their wishes.
Sources with department said that while the reliving order of this blue eyed engineer was signed on almost fortnight of transfer order perhaps during the period he knocked at the doors of the his political mentors and who asked him to buy time. Meantime he got his reliving from parent posting delayed by almost eleven days which suited his mentors well who got his order modified.
They also lamented that this is not the first instance but many a time transfer order appearing in media section of various department indicating the blue eyed persons saying the ……………has been ordered to report to the ………………………………(concerned higher officer of the department) till further order of posting.
And in 995 of such cases people return back to the parent posting or get other privileged posting within the periphery of the their choice, they added.
And all this is happening when the chief minister Omar Abdullah and his cabinet ministers crying aloud to eradicate the corruption but all in vain till date reasons better known to chief minister and his men.
As they say king known his men the chief minister also knew his men moving around but pawns like Jagroop Singh Junior Engineer at Samba seem more powerful and inflectional than the kings' men. |
