390 MW Dul-Hasti power project stops power production | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT KISHTWAR, Jan 8: 390 MW Dul-Hasti power Project in Kishtwar District has stopped its production from Saturday evening due to technical snag. While confirming the news General Manager NHPC Kishtwar Rajeev Kumar Hastu said that due to heavy snowfall, 400KV transmission line connecting the project with North Grid develops technical snag due to which the management of Dul-Hasti power Project stops the power production till the problem of technical snag could be resolved. He said that the department responsible for maintenance of 400KV transmission line has pushed the man and machinery into service to clear the transmission line and was hopeful that the problem will be solved by tomorrow. He said that once the transmission line will be cleared, the Power Project will restore its generation. Meanwhile the electric supply to Kishtwar District remains effected on 3rd consecutive day today. Acording to Hastu 132 KV transmission line of NHPC also develops fault at Khora Pani as some trees have fallen on the transmission line. He said that due to bad weather condition, the restoration of the electricity got hampered since the man and machinery fails to reach the spot. He said that few trees were removed from the transmission line till this evening and said that by tomorrow afternoon the power supply to Kishtwar District will be restored subjected to fair weather conditions. |
