| SCARB retired officers demand release of due benefits | | |

JAMMU, Jan 8:
An emergency meeting of the Retired Officers Welfare Association, J&K State Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank (SCARB), Jammu was held today under the chairmanship of BD Sharma (Retired Dy General Manager).
Among other members, general secretary Surinder Bhat also participated in the meeting.
The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss the Draft memorandum prepared by the Association General Secretary which will be presented to the Chief Minister, worthy chief Secretary, Advisor to the Chief Minster, Principal Secretary to State Agriculture Production Department, Chief General Manager, NABARD & the registrar Cooperative Societies, J&K Jammu.
Association members were of the unanimous opinion that the present Bank Management have indulged in violation of Board decision in respect of irrational payment of retirement benefits to the retirees of the institution. It was pointed out by the Association members that the present management instead of the following established rules and practice, violated the Board’s decision and adopted pick and choose policy while releasing the retirement benefits.
The association members expressed their grave concern for unnecessary delay in releasing the due benefits to the retirees from the date of their retirement. |
