| NHPC employees hold protest at GMC&H Demand airlifting of colleague’s body to Kishtwar | | |

Jammu, Jan 8:
NHPC employees held a protest demonstration in Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) demanding airlifting the body of their associate, who died under mysterious circumstances here at NHPC’s Guest House in Trikuta Nagar locality on Saturday.
The protesting employees sought shifting of the body of Abdul Rashid son of Ghulam Mohd of Sangrabata, Kishtwar to his native village at Kishtwar.
The protesters, who gathered at GMC&H where the body of Abdul Rashid was taken for post-mortem, were satisfied only following ex minister GM Saroori’s assurance to raise the matter before the administration.
It is pertinent to mention here that the body of the deceased could not be taken to Kishtwar owing to blockade of National Highway due to land slides and heavy snowfall. |
