Pune declaration endorses Homeland demand for Pandits.

Pune,(Maharastra) Jan 8: The two day KP youth global conference which is underway at Pune has send a loud and clear message all over the globe that no solution except carving out of a special Homeland within Kashmir for over seven lakh displaced Pandits all over globe.
The two day global conference of KP youth organised at Pune yesterday by youth for Panun Kashmir concluded with Pune declaration this evening.
A galaxy of KP leaders all over the globe attended the conference which included film personalities, artists, bureaucrats and scholars. All showed their concern for plight of displaced Pandits leading an exiled life all over the globe.
The Pune declaration the youth for PK took a solemn pledge to strengthen homeland movement as it was the only alternative to reverse genocide and exodus.
Through the declaration the pledge was also taken for professional empowerment of KP youth. Chander Prakash Diwedi a well known artist who had played role of Chanakiya in DD serial Chanakiya spoke at length on Indian ethos and culture with special reference to Kashmir.
Shelya Bhardawaj a well known scholar from Gujrat also strongly advocated for separate homeland within valley for over seven lakh displaced pundits. She said the muslim majority in Kashmir has totally rejected the composite culture by forcing minority Hindus to leave the valley in 1989-90.
She said under these circumstances Pandits cannot live with majority community to subject themselves to further prosecution and torture. She said government should hold dialogue with PK leadership on Homeland demand as it was the only viable solution for problems of displaced pundits.
Dr Agnishekher, Convener PK, said when Jews could struggle for centuries together for their homeland why not pundits. He said this conference is eye opener for those who are hobnobbing with government agencies for symbolic return of Pandits to valley.
