Essay competition held

KATHUA , January 8 : An eassay competition on “The History of Sikhism” was conducted by the Sukrut Trust in collaboration with Sahib-A- Kmal International Brotherhood organization in the Gurudwara Singh Sabha Kathua.

To make the completion relevant and logical in respect of polish the glorious history of the schism, more than 62 students from Lacchipur, Taraf Sanji, Sawan Chack, Kuka Chack, and different wards of the town Kathua took part with great pomp and show.

While speaking o the occasion the president of the Trust Sukrut S. Parveen Singh said that the main objective of the essay writing competition on the topic history of the Sikhism was only to make the awareness about the history of the Sikhism which is the full of sacrifices and its marvelous role for the protection of entire human society from the evil and deadly oppressive regime of the rulers of that era.

He said the Sikh community is the community of strong and patriotic warrior who have only and only one mission to serve the humanity at any cast.

To address the participants and media the president of Gurdwara Parabhandak Committee S. Charanjeet Singh (Bholla) said this is also a good way to take the young generation in touch with the history of the Sikhism by conducting the essay competition and for this effort I immensely appreciate such organization which comes forward to do their best for the cause of society.

On the occasion the langar was also organized and offered to the participants in the Gurdwara Kathua.
