JKTF highlights demands of teaching fraternity | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 9: A meeting of Jammu Kashmir Teachers' Forum (JKTF) Jammu was held today under the chairmanship of Abdul Qayoom Wani Chairman JKTF in which a large number of members were present and took stock of the problems faced by teaching fraternity. various demands of teaching fraternity were discussed during this meeting like Removal of pay anomalies of Master Grade from 6500-10500 to 7450-11500, Inclusion of 5 yrs services of ReTs for promotional benefits, Transfer policy of ReTs, Regularization of EVS after completion (5+2) years of services, Deduction of GPF in favour of regularized ReTs. Other demands highlighted during the meeting included Grant of miscellaneous (Muffsil) allowances to the teacher working in remote areas, Early release of promotion list of Masters/Teacher as Lecture, Release of promotion list of Masters as Headmasters, Grant of earned leave in favour of teaching community, Timely release of salary grants and treating Principal and Headmaster as non vocational. While speaking on the occasion, AQ Wani and Ganesh Khajuria asked the members present in the meeting to remain united for the cause of fraternity. Among those who addressed the meeting included Rajinder Gupta, Bhupinder Shastri, Gopal Singh, Satish Dutta, Soorat Singh Toofani, Gopal sharma, Harpal Singh Pali and many others. |
