| MoS Khan dissatisfied with MGNREGA Schemes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Rajouri, Jan 9: Minister of State for Power Shabir Ahmed Khan today expressed hios dissatisfaction with the ongoing projects undertaken under the MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Gurantee Act) schemes in Manjakote block in district Rajouri.
While chairing a convention of Panches and Sarpanches in Manjakote¸ MoS Khan took stock of ongoing schemes and developmental projects undertaken under MGNREGA schemes. MoS Shabir Ahmed Khan showed his dissatisfaction towards the implementation of MGNREGA in this particular area of Rajouri and instructed related officers for complete implementation of this scheme.
He also added that newly sanctioned works under MGNREGA yet have not been initiated. However Minister assured the panches and sarpanches that time to time, he will check the functioning of developmental projects being carried out in assembly constituency for their timely completion and for benefit of people. Earlier senior officials of related departments presented a roadmap in front of panchayti representatives for ground level development in the said area. |
