| ASCOMS, MAM college reach final of Basket ball tourney | | | JAMMU | JAN 14
ASCOMS and MAM college have entered into the final of Inter College Men’s Basketball tournament being played at Jammu University.
In the 1st semifinal ASCOMS defeated GGM Science College by 28-21. At the half time of the match, Ascoms was leading with the score of 14-12. Asif and Wasin scored 7 and 10 baskets for the winning side while Pushpinder made 6 baskets for the losing team.
In the second semifinal, MAM college outplayed Commerce college with a huge margin of 50-33.
At the half time, MAM college was ahead with the score of 28-17. Kuldeep was the top scorer with 15 baskets while Vinod scored 12 baskets and Mohit scored 8 baskets for the winning side while Manik added 12 baskets for the losing side.
Harpreet Singh and Rajesh Bhagat were the match referees.
