| Early construction of Kahara, Jaie road demanded | | | BHADARWAH | JAN 14 A meeting held under the chairmanship of general secretary, J&K Milchar front Kuldeep Kumar Rao has demanded early construction of Kahara-Jaie road in Basnota area of Baderwah. In the meeting people of Basnota falling in Bhadarwah constituency of District Doda discussed long pending demand of construction of Kahara-Jaie road. The people alleged that despite a tender being invited in the month of November 2006, by the Executive Engineer PWD (R&B) Subdivision Gandoh, no work has been executed till date. The meeting alleged that tehsil Thathri of Bhadarwah constituency is totally ignored and the road infrastructure was particularly poor except the National High way to Kistawar and Gandhoh. Rao appealed both Chief Minister and Minister for R&B to consider the genuine and long pending demand of the people of Basontoa and order the execution of work on Kahara-Jaie road on war footing under double shift system of work. The meeting was attended by Balkrishan Kotwal, Satish Manhas, Ravinder Kumar, Jagdish Kumar, Balwant Singh and Mohinder Singh.
