| Blind murder case solved in Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Jan 9: Police have claimed to crack a sensational murder case of Ladha, Chenani area within 10 days, with the arrest of accused from Jaipur, Rajasthan. Giving details, Shakeel Ahmed Beig, SSP Udahmpur said; based on an information regarding brutal murder of one Raju son of Jagtu resident of Ladda, Chenani with a sharp edged weapon (Kulhari) during the intervening night of December 28 and 29.
He added a special investigation team led by Insp Niaz-ul-Hassan, SHO Police station Chenani under the supervision of Master Popsy, Dy SP Hqrs. Udhampur was constituted to investigate the case and nab the criminals. The special investigation team immediately rushed to the spot and camped there to work out the case. A massive hunt was launched in various suspicious areas to nab the criminals and ultimately after concerted efforts, the Police party apprehended the accused namely Beeru son of Raju from Jaipur, Rajasthan, who is surprisingly the son of the deceased and had fled away to Jaipur, Rajasthan after brutally killing his father with a sharp edged weapon (Kulhari) on a minor internal family quarrel
He added in this regard, a Case FIR No. 146/2011 U/S 302 RPC stands registered in Police Station Chenani. |
