| Chib pays surprise visits to B&J, G.B. Pant hospitals | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Jan 10: The Minister for Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports, R.S. Chib made a surprise inspection of Bone and Joint Hospital, Barzulla and G.B. Hospital Batwara today. He interacted with the patients and inquired about the health care facilities being provided to the patients including facilities in the emergency and heating arrangements. The Minister during his inspection at Bones& Joint Hospital was informed that 50 to 60 patients are being admitted to hospital daily and are being provided good health care facilities.
The Minister assured that adequate medicare would be provided to the patients and instructed the concerned authorities to ensure that proper arrangements and facilities are made.
Meanwhile, the Minister asked the hospital administration to submit a proposal for construction of attendant shed with toilet facilities in the Hospital complex, so that the people may not suffer any more.
Earlier, the Minister chaired a high level meeting at Winter Secretariat and discussed at length many important issues including latest supply position of CA&PD, restoration of power supply, drinking water, Dewatering and restoration of transport facilities, snow clearance, availability of Gas, Kerosene oil, vegetables etc. |
